When will my order process? When will my order ship? ​​
Stock items:
It will take 1 to 3 business days. If the item you ordered is no longer available you will be contacted at the email you provided and you will receive a full refund. Once your shipment is processed you will receive an email with a tracking number which will allow you to track your order.​​

Made to order items:
It will take 5 to 10 business days. Once your shipment is processed you will receive an email with a tracking number which will allow you to track your order.​​

What is the shipping time? 
Orders for delivery in Canada:
+ Standard delivery are expected to be delivered within 5-10 business days
+ Expedited delivery are expected to be delivered within 2-4 business days
Taxes on items delivered in Canada will be determined by the place of delivery.

Orders for delivery in the US:
+ Standard delivery are expected to be delivered within 3-8 business days
+ Expedited delivery are expected to be delivered within 2-4 business days

Orders outside Canada and the US which are by standard delivery only are expected to be delivered within 14-21 days.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do! For deliveries outside of Canada you will be responsible for any custom duties and taxes charged at the place of delivery.

What currency am I charged in?
All orders are processed in CAD 

In order to return an item please email info@akoyaswim.com. In the case of a return which qualifies for an exchange AKOYA Swimwear will pay the cost of shipping to you, the item you have chosen in exchange, by the same shipping method you chose when the returned item was originally purchased. A shipping label will be provided by email. In cases of our “Buy multiple items and enjoy FREE RETURNS!”, please contact info@akoyaswim.com for a return shipping label.

+ You may return full priced merchandise which is in unused condition where the hygienic panty liner has not been removed for a full refund excluding original shipping fees. 

+ Sales merchandise may not be returned for refund however you may exchange the merchandise for an AKOYA Swimwear credit to be used on subsequent purchases. 

+ You must return the merchandise to AKOYA Swimwear within 14 days of your receipt of the merchandise (and 30 days in the case of shipments outside Canada and the US).

Please note: Refunds will be credited to you in the same manner in which you paid for the merchandise.

What are your suits made out of?
Recycled fabric! Our fabrics are made of regenerated nylon from fishing nets and post consumer waste made in Italy.

Are your suits made ethically?
YES! AKOYA has always been manufactured in Vancouver BC at small facilities and is currently made in house. In addition to our commitment to sustainable and recycled materials AKOYA ensures everyone in our processes is treated and paid fairly.  

What environmental impact has been made so far by Akoya?
Our circular model promotes sustainability by using recycled fabrics such as regenerated nylon swim fabrics. A made-to-order model also allows us to be authentically size inclusive, with the ability to make any size and reduce wasted materials by only making what is needed, helping to eliminate overproduction. This helps reduce landfill waste through recycling production and products at the end of their life.

How do I care for my suit?
We recommend hand washing with a light detergent, and hanging to dry out of the direct sunlight for longevity. 

Can I machine wash?
Yes! You can wash and tumble dry on a low setting. 

Do your suits have padding?
Some of our suits have a lightly padded cup, no push padding and some suits come with a removable cup. All style descriptions note the type of cup padding in each style.
